The Hangover Breakfast

ED'S NUMBER 1 CAFE located between White Center and Burien is my new #1 place for the best hangover breakfast cure. This small cafe with a maximum seating capacity of about 34, including all booths and counter seating, is a must visit for some of the best homemade food cooked right in front of you by the the staff of 3, the cook, waitress and dish hand. I devoured the Country Benedict on this visit with its hand-formed sausage patty on an English muffin, topped with scrambled eggs and thick creamy country gravy and a side of hash-browns so good they didn't need any ketchup!

Ed's

For such a small diner this place has one big menu. My next visit will most certainly include a choice of either the pancake sandwich, 3 pancakes layered with bacon and eggs, or the Stuffed Hash-browns, hash-browns layered with bacon, cheese, sour cream and green onions with 2 eggs, or The Mess, a combination of diced potatoes, ham, onions, green-pepper and eggs, topped with cheddar cheese and a side of toast. This is just a small sample of what's on their breakfast menu! So with the next hangover you have, do the right thing and get your sorry ass down to Ed's Number 1 Cafe, located at 11221 First Ave. S. in Seattle. Hours: 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Daily.
